Ultracomms to showcase innovative secure payment technology at Total Telecom Congress

Ultracomms will be attending the Total Telecom Congress to showcase an innovative payment solution that is transforming industry compliance and can be seamlessly integrated into telecom providers’ networks.

Specialists from Ultracomms, a market leader in providing omnichannel contact centre solutions, will be at Stand 17 on October 30 and 31 at the Business Design Centre in London. They will be speaking to telco decision-makers about the current challenges facing businesses in achieving a seamless customer experience while also achieving PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliance.

As the threat of card data breaches further heightens the need for compliance and security, Ultracomms has pioneered an industry-leading solution called PaySure. The solution allows customers to enter their payment card numbers directly into their telephone keypad, removing the risk of a card data breach that could occur reading them out loud to an agent over the phone. The solution has been designed to integrate into telephone networks so the network service provider can secure the voice channel and enable compliant phone payments for their telco customers as part of their SIP Trunk solution.

Ultracomms will be showcasing their PaySure technology at the conference, which will bring together around 300 organisations from across 50 countries to discuss strategy and innovation in the telecom industry. More than 700 delegates are expected at the event, which includes a prestigious line-up of sector leaders from the likes of BT, Deutsche Telekom, Telefonica, Orange and Vodafone.

Derwyn Jones, Chief Executive of Ultracomms, said: “The Total Telecom Congress is a highlight of the calendar across the telco sector and we’re looking forward to being part of this truly global event that celebrates innovation."

“We’re excited to be able to showcase PaySure, a technology that is leading a transformation in the way businesses take payments securely at a time when it is needed more than ever."

“As high-profile data breaches risk financial and reputational damage, businesses are crying out for cost-effective compliant payment technology and PaySure provides the answer."

“It makes sense for telecoms businesses to include a secure payments solution as an integrated part of their offering to customers. Doing so adds value, and offers a point of difference over competitors."

Derwyn added: “It’s abundantly clear that the market demand is there – and is only set to rise – for secure payment technology. Telcos have the opportunity to grasp it with both hands and provide an innovative solution that solves a very real industry problem. Ultimately, it’s a small investment, big differentiator – and a big opportunity to increase their own profitability.”
