Ultracomms' pledge to support Naomi House & Jacksplace in 2020

Today is Giving Tuesday so there’s no better day to announce our pledge to support Naomi House and Jacksplace as our charity of the year for 2020.

Naomi House & Jacksplace provide expert hospice care to life limited and life threatened children, young adults and their extended families. With less than 10% of income coming from Government and statutory sources, they are reliant on the support and donations from businesses and the public. We’re delighted to be supporting such a worthy cause.

Stuart McInnes, Finance Director at Ultracomms recently visited the hospices. He said “It was a real honour and pleasure to see the wonderful work carried out at Naomi House & Jacksplace. We came away determined to raise as much as we possibly can for the great causes they support”.

To kick off the fundraising, we will be donating all proceeds from our office Christmas Jumper Day on the 13th December. The total raised on the day will be added to proceeds from our office tuck shop donations that we have been saving over the last six months.

Victoria Ford, Technical Client Services Executive and Philanthropic Officer at Ultracomms said “I’m thrilled to be organising our office fundraising activities for Naomi House & Jacksplace in 2020. I already have a few ideas in the pipeline and am looking forward to visiting the hospices in January to see first-hand the remarkable work they carry out.”

With more visits to the hospices planned early next year, we’re keen to show Ultracomms staff just what a difference their donations can make, no matter how big or how small, and what a difference Naomi House & Jacksplace make to the young people and children they care for, as well as their extended families.
